The ritual

Three moves. That's the whole thing.

Gua sha is an old technique with a simple idea: glide a smooth stone over oiled skin, always upward and outward. Light pressure. Slow strokes. Here's the version you'll actually do every day.

Oil up

Apply your serum or facial oil first. The stone should glide, never drag. Two or three drops is plenty.

Glide up and out

Jaw to ear. Cheekbone to temple. Brow to hairline. Five slow strokes each side, holding the stone almost flat against the skin.

Chill it

Keep the stone in the fridge. The cold is the best part of a morning ritual — and it's why we went with jade over anything else.

Is it real jade?

Yes — natural Xiuyan jade, cut and polished by hand. Because it's natural stone, each piece has its own veining and shade. Small pits or color variation are part of the material, not damage.

Which oil or serum should I use?

Any facial oil or serum you already like. The stone just needs enough slip to glide. Avoid using it on dry skin.

How do I clean it?

Warm water and gentle soap after each use, then pat dry. Store it in the box or the fridge. Don't drop it on tile — it's stone, not steel.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

The edges are smooth-polished and the pressure should always be light. Don't use it over broken, sunburned or irritated skin, and stop if anything feels uncomfortable.
